For a long, time experienced aficionados have considered the complex tobacco flavors from Brazil as an insider tip. With the new VILLIGER selection, a premium product originating 100 % from Brazil appears on the market: the VILLIGER DO BRASIL promises aficionados a versatile voyage into the country of vitality.

Particulars about this cigar: the VILLIGER DO BRASIL originates 100 % from the in-house manufacture in the area of Bahia, one of the most fertile regions of Brazil. Oranges, sugar cane, and coffee will grow here but also another top-class product; the fine tobacco is harvested on the company-owned fields, selected torcedors will roll the puros elaborately by hand. A luxury product for demanding aficionados, as the company’s chairman Heinrich Villiger emphasizes. “We control the entire manufacturing process to guarantee excellent quality – from the tobacco seeds to the perfect cigar.”

A composition full of richness and complexity

Each draw, the VILLIGER DO BRASIL carries connoisseurs into the country of contrasts: wild samba rhythms, un-spoilt rainforests, snow-covered mountains, and sunny beaches – everything may happen in Brazil at the same time. The Brazilian Puros reflect this diversity. Typical leather and musk nuances with a delicate acidity meet subtle sweetness, roasting flavors with nuances of cedar, cloves, and pepper make the VILLIGER DO BRASIL an outstanding pleasure.

Two wrapper variants

The types offer different color variants: Arapiraca tobaccos lend their silky dark-brown shade to the darker Maduros with a spicy sweetness surrounded by nuances of cocoa and coffee. The type Brazil-Connecticut shade provides the Claro variant a velvety light-brown tone. Both types are medium-strong in taste, the Maduro’s flavor being slightly stronger.

Sophisticated processing for strong flavors

The filler contains the strong tobacco grades Mata-Fina and Mata-Norte with rougher-structured leaves and rich flavor. The unique harvesting process enhances the special touch of these tobaccos; the entire plant is harvested to allow after-ripening. The fermentation provides a strong character, and the addition of water supports the pre-assorted tobacco leaves in their natural ripening process. Heat intensifies the savor. In a unique natural brew, the malt allows the plants to develop their characteristic sweetness, which can be found only in Brazilian tobaccos.
