From July 1, 2024, VILLIGER’s cigarillo range will include two equally popular and impressive flavors, which will now also be available in a 9 cm format: the new VILLIGER LONG RED FILTER and VILLIGER LONG GREEN FILTER cigarillos. The 9 cm length will make them the most popular format on the German market.
“We’re offering this popular cigarillo format to meet the high demand for an extended smoke and more intense aroma,” says Fabian Steffen, Product Manager.
The new cigarillos boast the same flavor profile as the popular VILLIGER MINI filter cigarillos. The VILLIGER LONG RED FILTER features a creamy vanilla aroma, which is one of the most popular cigarillo flavors on the German market – and rightly so. The full-bodied taste is rounded off by a sweet-flavored mouthpiece, resulting in a perfect vanilla treat.
The new VILLIGER LONG GREEN FILTER is the perfect match for those looking for that refreshing caipirinha kick. Its fruity notes of lime and cane sugar capture the casual elegance of the Caribbean, while every puff of the sweetened mouthpiece delivers a hint of refreshing cocktail flavor.
Both cigarillos come with environmentally friendly fleece filters that ensure a particularly clean and long-lasting smoke. The high-quality finish also makes the 20-piece packaging incredibly pleasant to the touch. The VILLIGER LONG RED FILTER and VILLIGER LONG GREEN FILTER will be available in German stores from early July 2024. Each pack will contain 20 cigarillos and cost €7.50. Flavored filter cigarillos account for around 70 % of the entire market, and their share is growing steadily – products with a sweetened mouthpiece, in particular, are becoming increasingly popular. Retailers benefit not only from the attractive flavors of the new VILLIGER cigarillos but also from the growing demand for larger formats and flavored products.
