The VILLIGER Celebration has been an annual highlight for many years, bringing together loyal guests and new faces, featuring an exceptional mix of luxury, excellent cuisine, and company. November 9, 2024, marked a very special occasion: The 10^th edition of this exclusive event. What better way to celebrate this milestone anniversary than with a stunning location and a diverse program that ticks all the boxes? For this year’s event, guests were treated to a unique venue at the spinning mill in Emmenbrücke, originally home to a factory that spun viscose threads into fine yarn in the 1960s. The program was packed with highlights that made the evening an unforgettable experience.

Stunning location meets classic Harley feeling
Guests were treated to a reception that set the tone for an evening guaranteed to be second to none. With its industrial charm and impressive architecture, the spinning mill provided the perfect backdrop for the occasion. Another highlight was the collaboration with the Central Switzerland Harley-Davidson dealership, BIXE AG, which showcased a selection of its eye-catching motorcycles at the event. The aperitif was served amidst the sleek bikes, providing an exquisite start to the evening, during which the guests had the opportunity to enjoy a glass of white wine or a refreshing drink while admiring the vehicles. Combining premium cigars, exclusive drinks, and motoring masterpieces created a genuinely memorable VILLIGER experience.

Culinary delights paired with exciting insights
After drinks, the guests proceeded to the spectacular event hall with an impressive 270-degree projection. The room set the extraordinary scene for the rest of the evening. The guests were treated to a delicious three-course meal. The dishes were carefully selected to fit the evening’s theme of enjoyment and were presented by the charming presenter Nicole Berchtold. Musical entertainment was provided by the talented Eliane Müller, which perfectly complemented the evening’s atmosphere.

However, guests enjoyed more than just culinary delights: They were also treated to an exciting interview with Corina and Lucien Villiger, the daughter and grandson of Heinrich Villiger, which marked one of the evening’s highlights. The interview provided fascinating insights into the history and future of VILLIGER and the company’s vision, which builds on a long tradition while also charting a course for the future.

The art of cigar rolling up close
As you would expect, the VILLIGER Celebration was not to be without the company’s core area of expertise – the production of cigars. We had two exclusive cigar counters, where our event team was on hand to provide expert advice. The show's star was Maria, our wonderful Torcedora (cigar roller). She rolled cigars in front of the guests, displaying her impressive skills. But that was not all. The guests also enjoyed trying their hand at rolling a cigar under Maria’s guidance. The experience was an absolute highlight for all those interested in the art of rolling cigars and those who had always wanted to make their cigar.

Party until the wee hours of the morning
The event team treated those who wanted the evening to continue to a perfect finale: a bar with a DJ opened at 10:30 p.m., providing entertainment until after midnight. Everyone had a great time, and the DJ drew a constant crowd on the dance floor.
